The Athenaeum Hotel reservations office is temporarily closed and will reopen Friday at 9 a.m. due to a system upgrade. Online booking will be down for 7 to 10 business days. Please email athenaeum@chq.org or reach out to Chautauqua Institution's ticket office at 716-357-6250 for immediate questions. We're sorry for the inconvenience. The Lobby Lounge is still open for food and drinks!

Thanks to those who have alerted us to some glitches on chq.org. Yesterday we experienced an influx of bot attacks on the various submission forms on the site. While that issue has been mitigated, the mitigation tools have caused some back-end conflicts that our IT team and web development consultants are working to resolve. As they work through these issues, you may experience some delays in site loading and errors in how certain pages render. Thankfully most of the site is working properly, if just a little slower than normal; online ticket sales, class registration and other Institution web properties are functioning normally.
